The work was conceived as an edition for the Kunstverein Munich (DE). Continuum deals with our experience and perception of time. A smartphone is used to display the installation which consists of a black and white pattern of stripes that slowly moves from one end to the other in an endless loop and a deeply black, reflective ball placed exactly at its center. The light pattern shows an abstract visualization of moments occurring one after another that represents the ever-lasting passage of time. At the center of the installation, the black ball reflects the continuum of instants and the viewer, merged into one.
